Destiny 2 Hotfix Lands Today to Fix Hitching Issue Last Update Caused

Last Friday we mentioned that the 1.0.6 patch for Destiny 2 had fixed one issue that had to do with not being able to see clan members on the roster, but had caused another issue. That issue was with little freezes in the game that lasted only seconds. Bungie has announced that a hotfix is landing today that will fix that issue.

Bungie says that the “hitching” issue is specific to PC reports GameSpot. The update last Friday that caused the hitching issue did a bit more than we thought at that time. It also fixed an issue with performance dropping with extended play sessions.

The Friday patch also made some changes to the Faction Token system and tweaked the Crucible experience. The patch is landing right ahead of Destiny 2’s weekly reset that happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning each week.

December will be a big month for Destiny 2 fans with the game’s first expansion landing then. That expansion is called Curse of Osiris and brings lots of additional content. The expansion will also raise the level cap from 20 to 25 and boost Power level ceiling to 330 from 300.
