The first video of DayZ Standalone has been released this week! It’s nearly 15 minutes long and features the game’s creator, Dean “Rocket” Hall, explaining what you’re seeing. A good deal of the video deals with clothing, but the real good stuff comes at the tail-end where the the Dean Hall and production assistant Matt Lightfoot go into how loot spawning has changed! No word on when the standalone version of DayZ will be released, but they did say that the team at Bohemia Interactive is hard at work!
Rocket and Matt provide a quick overview of some new elements of the DayZ Standalone project. Includes the new engine support for clothing, the revised loot spawning mechanics, and some new areas on the map.
