Corsair Shows They Can Run DDR4 Memory At 3333MHz Too!

By

Corsair is one of the big names in the performance memory business and we were happy to see that they were showing off a kit of memory overclocked to 3333MHz, which ties the clock speed for the World’s highest clocked DDR4 memory kit. On display at IDF 2013 was a Corsair Dominator Platinum Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit (CMD16GX4M4B3200C16) running at 1.35V that was overclocked up to 3333MHz on an ASUS X99 Rampage V Extreme motherboard.

Corsair wasn’t showing off any memory bandwidth benchmarks, but they did show that the a 32M HyperPi score of 13m 19.208 and said that it was rock solid. The timings on the kit were 16-18-18-36 with a 2T command rate. For comparisons sake the G.Skill 32GB 3333MHz DDR4 demo we saw earlier today had slightly tighter timings of 16-16-16-36 2T.
