THQ Inc. today released a patch adding Microsoft DirectX 10 (DX10) support to Company of Heroes, the award-winning real-time strategy (RTS) title from internal studio Relic Entertainment. Company of Heroes is the first commercially available DirectX 10 Windows PC game. The DirectX 10 patch adds numerous enhancements to the title’s critically acclaimed game-play, including significant improvements to model and map details, lighting, shadows, and overall image quality. Let’s take a look at the settings we used and get to the benchmarks!
With everything cranked up to high and ultra we were able to get some eye candy! It should also be noted that Vsync was turned off during all testing.
