Civilization 6 Lands on iPad Priced at $60

One of my favorite long-running game franchises is the Sid Meier Civilization franchise. Granted all the entries in the franchise since Civ V have been a bit of a letdown for me, but they are still great fun. Many fans of the franchise will be glad to hear that the full Civ 6 title is now available on the iPad.

It’s not a toned-down version of the game either, it is a full port for the iPad. The only bad thing about the game might be the price, it will cost you $60 to get the game. While that seems like a huge amount of money for an app, keep in mind that this is the full game just as you get on PC.

The game is well worth it, even if many fans prefer Civ V. You can download the game for free and play the first 60 turns, which will go very quickly. If you want to keep the game and continue you will have to pay up. The best news is that during the launch window for the game it’s half price reports Polygon.

That means you can download now and buy it for $30 and this is probably the best game out there for the iPad. That discounted price will run through January 4, 2018. The entire game has been rebuilt with touch controls and having played it on a touchscreen notebook, I think touch is the way to play this game.
