CES 2014 – In-Win Shows of Tou mid-tower and Mr Bubble
In-Win was presenting new hardware at CES 2014 which included several recently released cases, mouse pads and a unique headphone holder.
The Tou is a mid-tower case that is built around an aluminum frame; however that is not what sets this case apart. The exterior of the case is tempered glass that has had a special treatment applied. Supporting SuperSpeed USB 3.0, integrated two fan controller, and light control through a touch sensitive control panel. While the lights are turned on, the glass is see-through, however turn them off and the case goes dark; making the glass turn into a mirror. Before you rush out to purchase one of these incredible cases, it is a very limited edition and sell out very quickly, regardless of the $999.99 price tag.
The IN WIN 707 is a full tower case with a very sleek exterior. The front panel is made out of aluminum, while the rest of the chassis is made out of steel. The side panel follows the Tou being made out of Tempered glass. It supports up to E-ATX motherboards.
On feature on the 707 that should make many people happy is the extremely easy to clean front filter! Open the door, and the filter can be removed.
The 901 and 904 are very similar with some minor differences. Made out of a single piece of 4mm aluminum, the side panels are tempered glass. While the front doesn’t support a 5.25″ bay, it has a hidden one in the little “hole” area. The differences between the 901 and 904 include the size, one is a mid-tower, while the other is a Mini-ITX case. With differences in size, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports are different as well, from 4 on the 904, to 2 on the 901. Another difference is in the 5.25″ drive bay, from a full size bay to a slim-line bay.
Solid aluminum mouse pads have been redesigned, with diamond cut edges and rubber anti-slip rubber base. The RockerMat 2 has a cable holder that you can attach to help control the cable position.
Mr. Bubble, a funny name for a really interesting headphone holder. Made out of blown glass, each one is hand made and will be unique. When headphones are not in use, they can sit on the Mr. Bubble and not get broken. It will be available in White, Pink, Grey, Blue, Brown and Purple. While Green is shown, In-Win did not expect it to be available.
