The demo system was using the recently announced Corsair DOMINATOR GT TR3X6G2000C7GT memory kit, which is a 6GB DDR3 triple channel kit that runs at 2000MHz with 7-8-7-20 timings. This is an impressive kit of memory that will be coming out later this month. Pricing is still not final on it, but we expect it to retail over $409, since that is what the 1866MHz kit retails for with CL9 timings. Corsair also informed us that the DOMINATOR GT’s will only be sold on the Corsair resale site.
Along with their new memory modules, Corsair was showing off several systems from boutique builders at their display. Those included were Alienware, Velocity Micro, Dell XPS, Smooth Creations, and the Maximum PC Dream Machine since they all use Corsair Memory.
In the photo above you can see a Smooth Creations PC with custom air brushed flames!
On the inside, a PA120.3 keeps the system nice and cool, not to mention looking great. That wraps up our coverage of Corsair Memory, but the show is only starting.
