The OCZ 2.5″ SATA Solid State Drive has read performance up to 58MB/Sec and write performance up to 35MB/Sec.  The upcoming SATA2 SSD drives are much faster and come rated with 120MB/Sec read performance and 100MB/Sec write performance.  These are impressive performance numbers and are going to lead to some very fast systems that are very realiable.  The mean time between failure (MTBF) on this SSD is 2,000,000 hours, which is more than 83,333 days of use!!

OCZ has a ton of new products coming out in 2008 and all of them are very impressive.  OCZ Technology is for sure one company that you will want to keep a watch of in 2008 and beyond.
