Canadian Galaxy S III Owners Getting Android 4.1 on December 3rd

Samsung announced this week on Twitter that they will be pushing out the official Android 4.1 JellyBean update for the Samsung Galaxy S III on Monday, 3rd December. This Canadian roll out could potentially serve as a good indicator that those in the United StatesĀ  may be seeing a similar update in the near future. Samsung’s Galaxy S III smatphone has begun updating to version 4.1.1 of Android, affectionately known as Jelly Bean since October. I’m not sure why it takes 2-3 months to roll out the update worldwide, but an official build is still coming! How many Verizon and AT&T customers wish they could defect to Canada right about now?
