Activision has announced that a Call of Duty: Ghosts double XP weekend will begin later today (January 24th) at 10am PT (6PM London). Activision is also getting ready to release the first of four game expansions next week. Infinity Ward has confirmed the four DLC packs for the game will be ‘Onslaught‘, ‘Devastation’, ‘Invasion’ and ‘Nemesis’.

At a remote facility in the Alaskan wilderness, the shadowy Nightfall Program has been researching the origins of the “Alien” threat. When the scientists lose control, a small team of elite soldiers must retrieve the intel, exterminate hordes of hostile creatures, and survive a three-story tall terror unlike anything they’ve faced before. Get ready for Episode 1: Nightfall, the first installment in Extinction’s four-part episodic narrative!

Episode 1: Nightfall is included with Onslaught, the first DLC pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Onslaught comes to Xbox LIVE on January 28, with other platforms to follow.

State the Facts i pre bought the gave on steam so they let me download a day early on my Intel I-7 4 core with 2 6970 and the game said after loading you have to have 6 gigs of ram because of complains from people some days later they lowered it to 4 gigs. Then after a few days i loaded the game on my I-7 6 core with 4 gigs and 2 280′s and again it said i need 6 gigs to run. So put in my 8 gigs 2133 with the 6 cores and 2 280′s the Game was unbeliviable different in Graphics a whole different looking game this is where i GOT MY FACTS

Terry please get your facts right, I set this up on a friends pc using an old 560 I set graphics to extra and all the rest on low, dof off, shadows off etc, use common sense if you do not set graphics to extra everything looks blurry, So yes may seem like it looks bad, It does the same on my 680 GTX if I do not set it to extra. Just because you do not know how to configure the game correctly do not make comments about how a game plays. Also the PC only has 4GB of memory and plays fine so the comment about 6GB is misleading and totally untrue.

The game is only 4-5 hours and at 60 $ Now there are 4 DLP that means the Game will really cost well over 100$ to get the real Hours this game should have had. And you need a really good PC with 6 gigs of ram and the graphics suck unless you have a 4-5 hundred $ V.C.

I played through the game in 10 hours only redoing 3 missions due to failure and it took 10 hours. Not sure how you did it in 4-5 but congrats on doing so. In regards to 6GB of ram and a top of the line card. These would be pre-requisites if you are gaming on your PC the majority of the time. I don’t feel that Ghosts is pushing the envelope of hardware requirements. If you have a middle of the road PC turn the “pretty” down a bit for higher frame rate. If you have a top of the line rig it is because you wanted one and shouldn’t be considered as part of the cost of the game as it will be used for more than just GHOSTS anyway. Your point is moot!
