Battlefield V Launch Date Pushed to November

EA had promised that Battlefield V would launch on October 19 and gamers have been looking forward to the game. EA has announced that it is pushing the launch date for the game back by a month. The new launch is set for November 20.

That delay will allow the game to launch in a month not crowded with other notable launches like Red Dead Redemption 2. EA’s official reason for the delay is to adjust core gameplay reports PC Gamer.

“Youve also spurred us to make some meaningful improvements to the core gameplay experience, including adjusting the gameplay tempo, improving soldier visibility and reducing player friction,” says EA. “Youll see a lot of these reflected in our Open Beta that starts on September 6. We believe we have one of the best Battlefield games ever on our hands.”

EA is kicking off the open beta next week and will certainly get lots more feedback from players on how to improve the game. A delay is never welcome by gamers, but if EA improves the game this is good for fans of the franchise.
