ASUS unveiled a new ultraportable notebook computer at Computex 2018 and the machine was named Best Choice of the Year and a Best Choice Golden Award winner at the show. The machine has an interesting hinge design called ErgoLift that angles the keyboard of the machine at 5.5-degrees for ergonomics, better cooling, and improved audio.

The CPU inside the machine is the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 quad-core CPU paired with 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM operating at 2133MHz. Asus crams 1TB of PCIe x4 SSD storage inside. The slim notebook is 12.9mm thick and weighs in at 2.3 pounds.

It comes in two colors including deep dive blue and burgundy red. Despite its thin profile, it has three USB type-C ports with all of them capable of charging attached gadgets like smartphones and a pair of them supporting Thunderbolt 3 for dual 4K display output and external GPU support.

The screen is a 4K resolution touch unit that covers 100% of the sRGB color space and has a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The NanoEdge bezel around the screen is 5.9mm thick and the display supports the ASUS Pen as well. The ZenBook S (UX391) will launch June 11 at $1,199.
