Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe Motherboard ReviewMon, Dec 24, 2007 - 12:00 AM
Overclocking on the Asus M3A32MVP Deluxe motherboard was absolutely a breeze. The board would either post, or not… and then all it took was a restart to get back into the BIOS. We never had to use the clear CMOS at all. Our results above are from our default multiplier overclocking. As you can see, we were able to reach 225 bus speed with out 13x multiplier, giving us a CPU speed of just under 3.0 Ghz. We did everything we could to get higher: lower multiplier, lower HT speed, ram set to lowest divider anf loose timings. None of it worked to get us any higher at all. This is a pretty nice boost in speed for our 5000+ CPU though. next, overclocking with a low multiplier!
As you can see, we faired much better with a 5x CPU multiplier, reaching a bus speed of 385. This board certainly has potential for the enthusiast overclocker.
