Assassin’s Creed: Origins Adding Nightmare Difficulty

By

Fans of the Ubisoft game Assassin’s Creed Origins have a new update to look forward to this month that will bring some new features. The big item in the update is a new difficulty mode called Nightmare. The mode will make enemies more resilient to damage and more dangerous. The update will also add in enemy scaling.

This feature will scale the prowess of early enemies to match your level at lower levers of the game. The new difficulty and first Civ pack will be available in the Heka Chest. Another new tidbit is a new quest with Hoard mode.

The event quest is called Here Comes a New Challenger. In that mode you will be in the Cyrene arena and face an unlimited wave of foes. Ubisoft recommends that you be level 32 or higher. The new Trials of the Gods quest will have players facing off against Sekhmet.

Players will also get to face off against Anubis and Sobek if you missed them the first time around. Some updates have come for the in-game store too with new Gladiator items pack coming December 12. This includes the Spaniard’s armor, Palladium shield, Hercules’ Gladius sword, Labrys heavy blade, and Neptune’s Grasp spear. A Wacky items pack will also be offered said to go perfectly with the bath towel outfit.
