ASRock 880G Extreme3 Motherboard Review
Here we have an 880G motherboard from the likes of ASRock. The ASRock 880G Extreme3 motherboard is feature packed with multiple PCIe 2.0 x16 slots and USB3 SATA3 as well as External SATA3 all unheard of on a board that retails at the $100 price point. Read on to see if this should be your next budget upgrade!
Once again ASRock released a board that is based on the latest and greatest chipset technologies that are out there. This time it comes in the flavor of the AMD 880G Northbridge paired with the AMD SB850 Southbridge. This combination should provide for good performance, great features and, hopefully, some pretty decent overclocking. With the integrated graphics and a $110 price-point, this board is poised to be a decent choice for an upgrade path that would include DDR3 and the Phenom II X6 CPU if one is desired.
