Test Results
Not surprisingly, the EVGA Classified with the 8-threaded Core i7 processor pushes over the Phenom II X4 955 but loses out in the 3D tests. The Core i7 920 has a 534MHz speed deficiency given its 2.66GHz processor speed versus the 3.2GHz Phenom II X4 955. This can really be seen in the 3DMark 2006 and 3DMark Vantage results where the Core i7 920 wins out in 2D and the Phenom II X4 955 wins out in 3D.
