ATTO Disk Benchmark v2.34
ATTO is one of the oldest hard drive benchmarks that is still used today. ATTO measures transfers across a specific volume length. It measures raw transfer rates for both reads and writes and places the data into graphs that you can easily interpret. The test was run with the default runs of 0.5kb through 8192kb transfer sizes with the total length being 256mb.
Benchmark Results: The OCZ Vertex 120GB SSD was able to reach 257MBps on the read test and 201MBps on the write tests. These are the highest results ever seen here at Legit Reviews in ATTO on the Overlapped I/O benchmark.
Benchmark Results: The OCZ Vertex 120GB SSD was able to reach 225MBps on the read test and 203MBps on the write tests when running the I/O comparison benchmark.
4MB Files Test Comparison Chart - Overlapped I/O: The OCZ Vertex 120GB SSD mored than doubled the read and write performance of the Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320GB hard drive in the ATTO benchmark. The Vertex also passed up the Corsair P256 SSD and is a real speed demon!
