The PNY GTX 285 shares a nearly identical PCB and identical heatsink to the GTX 280. Instead of the 8-pin and 6-pin PCIe connector, the GTX 285 only requires two 6-pin connectors. Otherwise, there is nothing to see here. Sadly, the decal applied to the PNY GTX 285 had bubbles form underneath and warped the decal.
Besides a few different stickers, this is the same card. Time to start some testing.
