Test System

PaLiT HD 4870x2

Today I'll be using the beginnings of my Intel X58 testbed. The drivers used were the new 8.12 Catalyst drivers. Vista Ultimate X64 with Service Pack 1 was the OS used and RivaTuner 2.21 was used for the overclocking results. For thermal and power consumption testing the second GPU test of Vista was looked at under the Extreme preset. The memory was run at DDR3-1600 with 9-9-9-24-1T timings and 1.6vdimm while the CPU was run at both stock and overclocked speeds with the default 1.25v.
