Introduction and Specs
Elitegroup Computer Systems, ECS for short, is the third largest motherboard manufacturer. Among the enthusiast community ECS may not have immediate brand recognition; however, ECS manufactures motherboards for many OEM's and you may use an ECS product without knowing it. Today I will be reviewing their EP45T-A motherboard based around the Intel P45 chipset. Some claim the P45 chipset is the next best thing since Core 2 to hit the enthusiast scene. Let's see how ECS has managed to implement this fantastic chipset; to kick things off, here are the board specifications.
