Dell Inspiron 9400 Benchmarks
To test the DataTraveler 400 I used my Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop with a Core Duo T2350 @1.86gHz to run the Removable Storage test found in SiSoft Sandra Lite XII to get read and write performance numbers. I will be comparing it to my 2GB Lexar JD Firefly and 4 GB Kingston DT Mini Fun.
Kingston stated that the DataTaveler 400 was to have data transfer rates of up to 20MB/sec. read and 10MB/sec. write. Looking at the scores above, doesn't look like the lied. The drive out preformed anthing I have.
Again in the 64MB test the DataTraveler 400 left all my other drives in the dust. For the read speed the drive is operating at 30.58 MB/Sec or 203x, the write speed is very fast as well at 9.83 MB/Sec or 65x, just shy of being twice as fast as the DT Mini Fun.
