Radeon HD 2600 Pro

Our HD 2600 Pro comes in the same size and look of the X1300 and X1600 video cards of last generation. We see the same heatsink carried over from the 2400 XT here on the 2600 Pro. The 2600 Pro comes clocked at 600MHz core clock speed and 500MHz memory. So while it's clocked lower than the 2400 XT it's using the same larger, more powerful core of the 2600 XT and may be the best value for those looking to do some overclocking.

The 2600 Pro comes with two dual link DVI ports as opposed to a single DVI and D-Sub on the 2400. That means you can run a pair of LCD monitors on this card with resolutions up to 2560x1600.

On the backside of the card there are 4 Qimonda memory IC’s. These IC’s give the card a total of 256MB GDDR2, running at 1GHz. Current pricing has the 512MB ATI Radeon 2600 Pro video card around $89.99.
