Overclocking Results

We have had a decent amount of success overclocking the Intel 965/975 chipsets, and did not expect the DQ6 to be any different.  In fact, with all the improvements that Gigabyte touts about this board, we expected  this board to do better then previous board.  We were not disappointed  with our results at all.  Take a look...

Yup!  We got up to a fsb speed of 387!  This was a great overclock, and beat the overclock that we got from our Gigabyte DS3 (that we reviewed here last fall) by a fsb of 7.  Pretty good results if you ask me!  Let's lower the multiplier and see what we get.

WOW! is right!  A fsb of 491!  We were able to boot into Windows at 500fsb and run many of our tests, but unfortunately it would not complete of SuperPi 32M test until we got down to 491.  This is a great showing from this board.
