Software Installation
Logitech includes an upgrade of their older “iTouch” software that can be found with most of their legacy cordless devices. This new software, “Set Point” is pretty streamlined as it only took up 43 mb of disk space and when running, was around 16meg in memory used. To me, this seems like a pretty high price to pay in system resources, but let’s wait to see what we get for it. The installation of the software could not have been easier, after a few clicks we were up and running with very little fuss. The software enables the user to fully customize almost every button on the keyboard and mouse. Logitech does a really good job of implementing this software and includes my favorite option – being able to remove the icon from the taskbar! Thank you, Logitech.
And in a few short clicks we are ready to go!
