CineBench 2003

MAXON; CINEBENCH 2003:

CINEBENCH 2003 is the free benchmarking tool for Windows and Mac OS based on the powerful 3D software CINEMA 4D R8. The tool is set to deliver accurate benchmarks by testing not only a computer's raw processing speed but also all other areas that affect system performance such as OpenGL, multithreading, multiprocessors and Intel's new HT Technology. Again, higher Frames/Second and lower rendering time in seconds equal better performance.

Our Cinebench results show again how the X6800 just reigns supreme over anything green (meaning AMD), completing our benchmarks at a 39% faster pace in the single CPU benchmark thanks to it's high clock frequency. When SMP is enabled and all the cores are used the Intel Core 2 Extreme Processor QX6700 shows its stuff and completes the benchmark in just 15 seconds.  The QX6700 finished 20.6 seconds before the leading desktop processor from AMD.  The same scene can be rendered twice on the QX6700 before the FX-62 finishes the first run!
