Kingston's U3 DataTraveler 1 GB Flash Drive is a product that is helping lead the world of consumer electronics toward the way of the future. There's no hiding the fact that when it comes to consumer electronics, everything is getting smaller, lighter, smarter, and more mobile. Flash memory has come a long way in the last four years and is at the fore-front of this industry.
While Kingston is not the only company to utilize a U3 Smart flash drive, it is definitely one of the few name-brands to do so. Looking at U3.com and reading the list of companies offering a U3 Smart flash drive, only Kingston and SanDisk represent the big-name flash memory companies offering a U3 Smart flash drive. For me, that means there are really only 2 choices when it comes to deciding which U3 flash drive to purchase. For others, Kingston's superior 5-year warranty will narrow that list even further!
Pricing is not really a concern for this product either! At $38 (at the time of writing this article), you can't hardly go wrong for a 1GB flash drive. With all the technologies a U3 Smart Flash Drive has to offer, plus (almost) 1GB of storage space for your programs and data, the Kingston U3 DataTraveler is going to be hard to pass up if you are in the market for your next flash drive.
We also can't forget to mention that these devices offer great gifts for computer users of almost all ages! I don't think I have to worry about coming up with gift ideas for anyone for the next year because I already know what I'm going to get everyone.
Legit Bottom Line
The Kingston 1GB U3 DataTraveler Flash Drive packs a feature-rich product with expected high-speed USB 2.0 data transfer rates. With the ability to bring your favorite home or office applications with you to any computer, you are one step closer to never having to worry about having the right kind of software installed on a computer in a public lab or friend's house!
