Overclocking
After working with the KN1 Extreme Ultra board for a week or so I was anxious to get my hands on the SLI version as I had heard it was a much better overclocker.
Starting out, I decided to see how far I could push the board without changing any multipliers or memory dividiers. With the CPU left at a multiplier of 10 and the DRAM left at a 1:1 divider I was able to achieve an overclock of 2.42 (242FSB). Anything over that would not boot at all. While this is nowhere near the overclock I achieved using the DFI Infinity board, I think its still a pretty respectable rsult.

Dropping the CPU mulitplier to x7 and the memory to 100MHz (1:2) I still could not come close to 300 FSB, topping out at 279FSB. Not great, but by no means a terrible result. After playing with this board for a few days I am thoroughly convinced the lack of a chipset voltage adjustment within the BIOS is the culprit. I find it curious that a board maker would leave such an important setting out of their BIOS and further wonder if there is a reason behind it.
