Unboxing the power supply

We received the AX1200i supplied inside a large cardboard box, inside which everything is very neatly packed and well protected. Artistically, Corsair went with a simple dark theme to match the "professional" class of the product.

Corsair fit a vast amount of information on the rear side of the box, including a detailed list of all of its features, electrical specifications and efficiency/temperature figures.

For such a classy product, the bundle definitely is somewhat disappointing. The purchaser of this unit will receive the standard A/C power cable and standard mounting screws, a few standard cable ties and a basic black and white manual. There is also a nylon bag which holds all of the unit's cables, since it’s a fully modular design. The Molex, Floppy and SATA cables are all-black, flat cables. The rest of the cables are sleeved but Corsair still used all-black cables beneath the sleeving, which definitely looks much better. Unfortunately there are no other extras, not even a few cable straps.
