wPrime is an application that calculates PI to both 32 million and 1024 million numbers past the decimal. This program also is heavily threaded, and CPU frequency sensitive.
Looking at the wPrime testing results, we can clearly see that having more available cores available for this type of testing significantly improves our overall performance. But when we look at the P8P67 EVO and the P9X79 Deluxe motherboards results we can see that these two platforms are running on par with one another.
