The Test System
All tests were run on Windows 7 Professional x64 with no background programs. All USB 3.0 drivers were updated to ensure that we got the best performance possible from each drive.

For testing we will be using the USB 3.0 ports on the ASUS P8P67 motherboard. This board features a Renesas (NEC) USB 3.0 controller. We used this USB 3.0 controller with Controller Driver V2.0.32.0.
