Metro 2033

Metro 2033

Metro 2033 is a first-person shooter video game with survival horror elements, based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky. It was developed by 4A Games in Ukraine and released in March 2010.

Metro 2033 Settings

Our Metro 2033 tests were ran on the 'Very High' setting with 4x MSAA. We ran the Metro 2033 benchmark, with advanced PhysX disabled, just to ensure a level playing field.

XFX 7850 Black Edition Metro 2033 Chart

Metro 2033 is by far one of the more demanding games on the market today, and that shows with the results we got on our XFX 7850 Black Edition. At 1920x1080 we were only able to achieve 26.9 FPS, which is playable but not perfect. We can see that even though we didn't get the best results on our 7850, that it was faster than every other card tested. It was 18% faster than the 6950 in our 1920x1080 tests, and 21% faster than the EVGA GTX 470. At 1280x1024 it was 16% faster than the 6950 and 26% faster than our GTX 470.
