Sandra 2012 SP4a Memory Bandwidth
SiSoftware Sandra 2012 SP4a (build 18.47)
The Sisoft Sandra 2012 SP4a benchmark utility just came out this month and a fully supports both Windows 7 and Intel Ivy Bridge processors, so this utility is ideal for looking at memory bandwidth. 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL11 Memory:

8GB DDR3 1866MHz CL10 Memory:

We ran Sandra several times and consistently got a score of 20.4GB/s on the aggregate memory performance with the 8GB 1600MHz CL11 memory kit that came with our ASUS N56VM 15.6-inch notebook. This is not a bad memory bandwidth test result, but more is always better! With the Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1866MHz CL10 memory kit installed we saw the aggregate bandwidth jumped up to ~24.77GB/s as you can see in the screen shot above! That is an improvement of 4.37GB/s or an additional 21.4% of memory bandwidth. Not a bad performance gain that was had by just changing out the memory kit!
