Final Thoughts on the Vengeance C70
The Vengeance C70 is a solidly built midtower. Corsair going with the all steel construction the Vengeance C70 has some weight to it but should hold up to the roughest of users and the traveling gamer. The carry handles being incorporated into the design not only works with the styling, it does help in moving the case around.
I have been trying not to call the Vengeance C70 a “theme” case. There are several styling cues with the switches and handles that could make someone lean that way, but it is not over the top. Now, someone skilled with an air brush and little free time, the Vengeance C70 is a nice little starting point for nice custom case. I’m thinking of 1940’s era military plane nose art. Even the not so skilled painter with a couple rattle cans and few minutes could have a camouflage paint job on this case that looks great in no time flat.
The cooling arrangement in the Vengeance C70 allows for growth. The Vengeance C70 comes with three 120mm fans expandable to nine. Has room for the largest of air coolers, the Prolimatech Super Mega looks small in the C70. The user also has the ability to step up to water cooling either with a sealed kit like the Corsair H100 or custom loop like the Swiftech H2O-220 Edge HD. That can be expanded as well to include a second 240mm in the bottom of the case.
Corsair has the Vengeance C70 listed on their site for $139.99, with a little searching on line I was able to find the Vengeance C70 listed on sites but none had it in stock. The price may seem a little high for a mid-tower, but the build quality, feature set, and the ability to be upgraded from basic air cooling to water cooling with no mods. So the Vengeance C70 can grow with the user. With it being available in 3 colors there should be a version to suit any build.
Legit Bottom Line: The Vengeance C70 is a very nice case with all steel construction that looks to be able to take a beating from being hauled around.
