Futuremark 3DMark11 Synthetic Gaming Benchmark
3DMark 11 is the latest version of the world’s most popular benchmark for measuring the 3D graphics performance of gaming PCs. 3DMark 11 uses a native DirectX 11 engine designed to make extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11, including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.
Since Futuremark is releasing 3DMark11 today we decided to run the benchmark at both performance and extreme presets to see how our hardware will run.

MSI Big Bang XPower II Motherboard 3DMark11 Performance Preset Benchmark Results
Benchmark results: The MSI Big Bang XPower II fell to the second spot in Futuremark 3DMark 11. The extreme preset saw an overall score of 1656 3DMarks and a graphics score of 1477. This was second to the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme by only 4 points overall. The Performance preset saw an overall score of 5274 3DMarks and a graphics score of 4742. Once again the MSI Big Bang XPower II was only a few points behind the ASUS R4E, six to be exact. That's a difference of only .1%.
