Just Cause 2
Just Cause 2 running using the Avalanche Engine 2.0 is next up. This engine is known for seamless massive landscapes that use heavy tessellation to improve the level of detail. Because this DirectX 10 benchmark uses the Bokeh effect (depth of field blur effect) and several other CUDA specific features it will favor Nvidia based cards.
We crank up all the special effects and run this test at both 1920 x 1200 and 2560 x 1600 to give us a good idea of the performance on a typical 24" and 30" monitor.

The mildly overclocked ASUS GTX 570 falls 10.3 FPS or 28% behind the Classified which is running 80MHz faster at 2560 x 1600. Still almost 36 FPS is more than playable at 2560 x 1600 resolutions showing this card can handle whatever this game can throw at it.
