GIGABYTE A75-UD4H Motherboard Layout
The GIGABYTE A75-UD4H is one of the few remaining GIGABYTE motherboards that is using the blue and white color scheme. Many of the GIGABYTE motherboards have the blacked out look to them, so it's nice to see that not every board is blacked out.
The A75-UD4H will support up to 64GB of system memory, as well as DIMMS rated for 2400MHz! To the left of the 24 pin motherboard power is a COM port (white) and the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) header.
Along the front edge of the GIGABYTE A75-UD4H we can find five SATA III 6Gbps ports which are controlled by the AMD A75 chipset. Running our eyeballs up the left side of the GIGABYTE A75-UD4H we can see the color coded front panel pin out, and two front panel SuperSpeed USB 3.0 headers. Having the additional two SS USB 3.0 header on the board gives us a grand total of eight SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports! Beyond the USB 3.0 headers we have four USB 2.0 headers, the first white USB 2.0 header is the GIGABYTE On/Off charger.
Rotating the GIGABYTE A75-UD4H we can take a look at the expansion slots. The A75-UD4H is equipped with three PCIe x1 slots, two PCIe x16 (x16, x8-x8), and a pair of PCI slots. The layout of the PCIe x16 slots gives enough space between a pair of AMD Radeon HD graphics cards for them to breathe when running in CrossFireX. Moving back to the edge of the board we can pick up where we left off. Just past the USB 2.0 headers we have an internal IEEE1394 (Firewire) header followed by the front panel audio header.
The I/O panel doesn't have much space left if GIGABYTE wanted to add anything to it. We have a four SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, IEEE1394 (Firewire), a single PS/2 port for a keyboard or mouse, DVI, D-Sub, HDMI, Display Port, eSATA3, Gigabit LAN, optical SPDIF out, as well as six sudio jacks.
