Aliens vs. Predator

Aliens vs. Predator

Aliens vs. Predator is one of our current standard DirectX 11 GPU benchmarks from Rebellion, SEGA and Twentieth Century FOX. This benchmark makes extensive use of DirectX 11 Geometry Tessellation and DirectX 11 Advanced Shadow features.

Aliens vs. Predator settings

We ran the benchmark at both 2560 x 1600 and 1920 x 1200 resolutions representing both native 24" and 30" display setting.  All the settings were set to maximum to highlight what these cards can do.

Aliens vs Predator Chart

The overclocked GTX 570 Classified jumps well ahead of GTX 560 and GTX 550 Ti which is to be expected but is not able to keep up with the slightly overclocked Asus HD 6970 on this benchmark lagging by 10%.  As you will see with the next benchmark these cards tended to trade punches depending on the benchmark so if you are trying to pick between these two make sure you look at which game you might be playing most.
