Looking closer at the Rev2 Tranquillo
Overall the Rev2 Tranquillo stands 153mm tall and weighs in at 645g. The Rev2 Tranquillo is not overly big but it's not the smallest cooler. Fitting most midtower and up cases should not be too much of an issue. The Rev2 Tranquillo is also set up to accept a single 120mm fan.
The Rev2 Tranquillo has 40 aluminum fins on four U shaped heatpipes.
The Rev2 Tranquillo's fins are shifted to one side to provide better clearance to motherboard components.
The fins themselves have a chevron shape to them. The very top of the cooler has a plastic cover plate that has the Rev2 Tranquillo logo on it.
Each of the fins have a dimple pattern on them. The dimples increase the surface area of the fins and also causes turbulence between the fin. This turbulence keeps the air stirred up and increases the efficiency.
The top side of the base has an aluminum heatsink on it.
The base of the Rev2 Tranquillo is not polished to a mirror shine, but it is flat.
The fan for the Rev2 Tranquillo is nice. It's a 120mm PWN fan that operates between 750 to 1500 RPM and pushes a max of 58CFM at a very quiet 12 to 25.5 dBA. The power cable for the fan is sleeved for a nice clean finished look.
