Futuremark 3DMark 11 Synthetic Benchmark

3DMark 11 is the latest version of the world’s most popular benchmark for measuring the 3D graphics performance of gaming PCs. 3DMark 11 uses a native DirectX 11 engine designed to make extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11, including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.

3DMark 11 Settings

Since Futuremark is releasing 3DMark11 today we decided to run the benchmark at both performance and extreme presets to see how our hardware will run.

ASUS P8Z68-V Pro Motherboard 3DMark 11 Benchamrk Results

Benchmark results: The GIGABYTE Z68XP-UD3-iSSD didn't see the same performance numbers in Futuremark 3DMark 11 as our otherboards, though it's not far off. The performance preset was 156 3DMarks down from the leader, which is a difference of only .3%. Firing up 3DMark 11 in the Extreme preset we saw a difference of 27 3DMarks between the Z68XP-UD3-iSSD and the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro which is in the top spot. Once again the actual difference is limited to the rather small percentage of only 1.7%
