Total War: Shogun 2

Total War: Shogun 2 is a brand new SEGA made DirectX 11 based strategy game that takes place in ancient Japan. Featuring campaigns that take place on both land and water this is a game that can really stretch the limits of your graphics card.

For all of our testing we simply employed the use of the Very High preset setting that is available in the control panel of the game. Under this setting there is no AA settings set up and the AF is set to Trilinear. We ran our tests at both 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 1024 resolutions.

Benchmark Results: The Diamond Radeon HD 6770 XOC Video Card had a really hard time with Shogun 2. Not only did it run slow and choppy, the graphics did not look as good as the higher end video cards like the Radeon 6870. ut again if you play the game at around the medium settings you should have no problem getting playable FPS from the Diamond Radeon HD 6770 XOC Video Card.
