Futuremark 3DMark 11 Synthetic Benchmark
3DMark 11 is the latest version of the world’s most popular benchmark for measuring the 3D graphics performance of gaming PCs. 3DMark 11 uses a native DirectX 11 engine designed to make extensive use of all the new features in DirectX 11, including tessellation, compute shaders and multi-threading.
Since Futuremark is releasing 3DMark11 today we decided to run the benchmark at both performance and extreme presets to see how our hardware will run.

ASUS Sabertooth 990FX 3DMark11 Performance Preset Benchmark Results
Benchmark results: When we ran the Extreme preset in Futuremark 3DMark 11 there is very little performance difference between the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX and our other systems, at least in the overall score. The overall score was only 4 points different between the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX which took the top spot with 1586 3DMarks and the ASRock 890FX Deluxe4 with 1582 3DMarks. During the Performance preset the ASUS Sabertooth 990FX did pull ahead of the pack with an overall score of 4710 3DMarks while the MSI 990FXA-GD80 was 36 3DMarks lower with an overall score of 4674 3DMarks.
