Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 is a survival horror video game developed and published by Capcom. Resident Evil 5 features similar gameplay to Resident Evil 4, with context-sensitive controls and dynamic cut scenes also making a return. The player can control Chris Redfield or Sheva Alomar in a similar fashion to Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 4, with the same over-the-shoulder perspective.

All in game settings were set to their maximum. We used 8xAA for all of our performance tests in Resident Evil 5.

Resident Evil 5 Benchmark Results

Benchmark Results: Running the PC game title Resident Evil 5 on the ASUS K53E notebooks native resolution we were getting 26.5 FPS with high image quality settings and no AA or image blur with the 6GB 1333MHz memory kit.  By installing the Kingston HyperX plug and Play 8GB 1866MHz memory kit we saw a 12.8% improvement and the FPS jumped up to a smoother 29.9! We also saw a 13% performance improvement with the same settings at a resolution of 800x600, so this 13% performance jump looks to be across the board!
