Batman Arkham Asylum
Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action-adventure stealth video game based on DC Comics' Batman for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. It was developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Eidos Interactive in conjunction with Warner Bros.
For our testing we set everything as high as it would go EXCEPT the Multi Sample Anti-Aliasing which was DISABLED. The resolutions used were 1280x1024 and for giggles 1920x1200. PhysX was also DISABLED.
Benchmark Results: Batman: Arkham Asylum was rough on both the AXLE GeForce GT 430 and the ASUS GeForce 9600 GSO 512MB graphics cards. At the resolution of 1280x1024 both graphics cards were very playable at the highest settings without PhysX. Once you bump it up to 1920x1200, however, things change a bit on both cards as they went down to a slow but playable 30+ fps. For kicks I bumped the AA up to 8x and saw frames drop down to 14 fps. These cards were designed to be run with the image quality knocked down a few notches so that low frame rate was not surprising. I mentioned earlier that other than some obvious physical differences, both the AXLE GeForce GT 430 and the ASUS GeForce 9600 GSO are almost virtually identical in terms of CUDA cores and clock speeds, which is evident in this benchmark.
