FurMark 1.8.2

FurMark 1.8.2

FurMark is a very intensive OpenGL benchmark that uses fur rendering algorithms to measure the performance of the graphics card. Fur rendering is especially adapted to overheat the GPU and that's why FurMark is also a perfect stability and stress test tool (also called GPU burner) for the graphics card.

FurMark 1.8.2

The benchmark was rendered in full screen mode with no AA enabled on both video cards.

Furmark Benchmark Results

Benchmark Results: We run Furmark to heat up the cards and to find their peak power consumption numbers. While we had the utility open we ran a quick benchmark at 1280x1024 and 1920x1200 to see how the cards do on this OpenGL benchmark. The EVGA GeForce GTS 450 and the ASUS ENGTS450 DirectCU TOP were both ~17% faster than the reference NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450. The MSI N450GTS Cyclone was 11% faster than the reference card. SLI scaling in Furmark 1.8.2 was impressive; we saw a 97.1% improvement at 1920x1200 and a 97.8% improvement at 1280x1024!
