Air Aerated Assembly

For the first half of this article opted to use a beefy air-sink in order to give the overclocking section a fighting chance at being entertaining. Windows 7 32-bit was chosen to give a compromise between performance and stability and satisfying the restraining order filed against me by Vista. NVIDIA's ForceWare 258.96 drivers were used with the quality settings set to performance. MSI's AfterBurner was used to adjust GPU clocks while ASUS' ROG Connect was used to adjust CPU clocks and voltages. In all the benchmarks the overclocked runs were run straight through at the indicated clocks.
