The two dime-sized rubber (EVA) feet do not serve a specific purpose other than keeping the unit still when the cloth side is up.

 

The long grip at the end of the Comfort Lapdesk is a bit more useful as you can rest your laptop directly on it or up against it where it is very nice to have.

The most common way I found myself using the Choiix Comforter was with the cloth down, and either having this ridge up against my knees or on a desk for a nice angle on the keyboard for desk top use.

The Choiix Comforter lapdesk looks great, especially at its $14.99 price tag as a leg protector, an ergonomic stand, or a cooling pad, or even as a sun shield for your legs while driving if you so choose. The Choiix Comforter sets itself apart from the competition in being extremely comfortable; most laptop cooling pads or stands are not made specifically to set on your lap all the time, though the Comforter is.

Choiix even sets a one year limited warranty on the Comforter. I'm not entirely sure what would be covered under that warranty, but I assume at least broken plastic and ripped cloth would be covered.

The one thing I do not like about the Comforter Lapdesk is that it is too big to easily transport (for most backpacks anyway). The 18x13" size mostly limits this to be an at-home accessory, but for the price I would just get one for home and then another for a work laptop.

Legit Bottom Line: The Choiix Comforter Lapdesk from Cooler Master is a great accessory that protects your legs from the heat of your laptop or sets the keyboard at a more ergonomic angle. Retailing at just $14.99, there is no reason I can find not to try out the Choiix Comforter Lapdesk.
