Conclusion

First, it would've been nice for at least a front fan to be included from the factory. Sure it's a little extra money, but I've seen less expensive cases include a front fan. Second is the placement of the power supply dust filter. Unless you feel like blowing dust into the PC or in the PSU, it's impossible to clean without taking the power supply out. Third, the manual needs to be more detailed. It took me a while to figure out how to install the motherboard. It was the first time I've seen something like that and it would be very helpful to a newbie if there were at least a mention that mounting screws are not needed. Especially since I almost bent my motherboard in the process. While it's not a big thing, it would have been nice to have been able to reuse the expansion slot covers. Not everyone will or will be able to fill up those slots. Last is the CPU cutout. Its purpose is to let the user replace the cooler without removing the motherboard. Sadly, the board didn't line up with the cutout hole. Also, while a GTX 480 did fit without a problem, I do have concerns on how well it can be cooled in this case. So use at your own risk. None of the above issues are a deal breaker to me.
I like the SilverStone PS05, I really do. It's got great features at a great value. The black paint job was well done and was very appealing. It didn't have many issues that were even close to a deal breaker. I would be lying if I said the SilverStone PS05 wasn't worth a spot on your desk.

Legit Bottom Line: With an appealing price point and excellent features, the SilverStone PS05 Mid Tower Case is very worthy of a spot on your desk.
