PNY Retail Box and Bundle
The retail box for the PNY GeForce GTX 465 XLR8 video card lists the main features that the card comes with and that the card comes with two movie downloads along with a free three month subscription to the ESEA Premium Video Game Network.
Turning the retail box over, we see even more marketing text and a full list of specifications, features, system requirements and package contents. The PNY GeForce GTX 465 XLR8 retail box isn't lacking any text, so let's take a peek inside.
When you open the box the presentation and quality of the packing is very nice. PNY had everything packed securely in the box and the card wasn't sliding around at all.
The PNY GeForce GTX 465 XLR8 bundle included with the VCGGTX465XPB graphics card includes a single DVI-to-VGA adapter a mini HDMI to HDMI adapter, a quick installation guide, a dual 4-pin molex to single 6-pin PCIe power adapter and a drivers CD.
When you fire up the driver CD that comes with the card you'll see this GUI that allows you to check out the user manual and install the drivers and utilities if needed. This menu is nice as you can register the card, install DirectX 9 for legacy games and contact PNY, all from the load screen.
Taking a closer look at the bonus software section of the VGA driver disc we can see that it also comes with a utility and a couple of demos that might be worth taking a closer look at if you haven't used them before.
