Biostar TA890GXB HD Benchmark Results
The BIOSTAR TA890GXB HD motherboard performed comparably to both the ASRock 890GX Extreme3 and the MSI 785GM-E65. The BIOSTAR TA890GXB HD typically fell between the other to system boards that I tested, though none of them were significantly faster or slower. Where the BIOSTAR TA890GXB HD is going to have an advantage over the MSI 785GM-E65 is hard drive connectivity. The MSI 785GM-E65 is going to be limited to SATA2 speeds while both the ASRock 890GX Extreme3 and the BIOSTAR TA890GXB HD can take full advantage of the new SATA3 technology thanks to the AMD 890GX chipset.
