MSI Big Bang XPower Box and Bundle

The front of the retail packaging for the MSI Big Bang XPower was kept clean from the majority of the marketing text.

The build of the marketing text is on the inside of the front panel which, as you can plainly see, opens up. This gives you a nice view of the MSI Big Bang XPower Motherboard and all the marketing info you could want.

The back of the box emphasizes some of the key features of the MSI Big Bang XPower.

The side of the retail packaging is kept simple. The only text on this side of the packaging is the explanation of the Big Bang series
"Through long-standing development and with much energy, MSI formed the state-of-the-art gaming line inspired by the mighty Big Bang. Unique and innovative, the all-new Big Bang series will deliver the shock and awe of unprecedented gaming experience and expand into its own collection of galaxies. This begins the new era of ultimate gaming machines"

In the above image the basic features are explained in eighteen languages.

Once you begin to unbox the MSI Big Bang XPower you can see how well packaged it is. One box contains the MSI Big Bang XPower board itself; the other contains all of the included accessories.

Opening up the accessory box reveals some paperwork that goes over all of the key features of the MSI Big Bang XPower.

Once the paperwork is removed you can see everything is well protected inside the accessory box.

Breaking down the bundle, I began to realize that this is one of the most inclusive bundles I have seen. The bundle includes the usual suspects, driver disks, manual, and the I/O panel. A couple of items that are included that are nice little bonuses are the OC Dashboard, plugs for the v-kit, quick connect plugs for the USB headers and front panel. Also included are a couple of different length SLI bridges and a nice long Crossfire bridge.

As I stated this is an impressive bundle, so we continue with the accessories. The MSI Big Bang XPower includes a pair of expansion slot brackets, one is USB2 with a pair of USB plugs on it and the other is an E-SATA with two E-SATA ports and a four pin molex power plug. Next to the E-SATA bracket is an E-SATA cable and a four pin molex to SATA power cable designed to be used with the expansion bracket.
